The 6 Common Misconceptions Inner Psychic Power

Article by Jackson Swift

People with psychic powers are treated by people in two different ways. Some may appreciate psychics and acknowledge what role they play in people's lives; while there are also those who feel that psychics should not be believed at and that they come from the dark side.

This second thing is what scares people about psychics. Even though these beliefs are baseless, still these affect the way psychics are being treated. So in order to change the minds of skeptics, here are the 6 common misconceptions about having psychic powers and the truth about them.

1.Believing in psychic powers is against religious believes

Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are the three largest religions. Each of these bases its belief system in the Old Testament of the Bible. And the Old Testament mentioned that there was a dream interpreter named Joseph, The Owner of the Dream. This man was an advisor to the pharaoh and was also a respected man. With these information, it can be seen that Joseph was a psychic and he was accepted back then. This means that it is also accepted today.

2.The act attracts dark forces

In life, making decisions is in the hands of the person concerned. If a person decides to do something negative, then that is his choice. But if he chooses to do something good, it really has nothing to do with anyone or anything.

3.Only negative events can be foreseen

Psychics usually get their visions in the form of dreams. And most commonly, these come as bad dreams that eventually come true. However, this does not mean that all visions are negative. This is just a way to call the attention of the psychic and let him know that he has psychic powers. If it were all sweet dreams, then the person would really not mind it at all. Only bad dreams can catch attention.

4.Only a few have this gift

The truth is that everyone has this gift. It just gets lost over time. This is the reason why children are more capable of seeing departed ones and are more sensitive. It i! s just u p to the person to open up this gift again.

5.Everybody has the same amount of psychic skills

This is not true. There are some psychics who have developed their skills in more advanced ways. There are also those who have more than one psychic power and some others still have to unleash their gift.

6.Psychic powers are innate and cannot be improved

Psychic powers can be improved. It can be strengthened through practicing a healthy psychic life. In the same way, these powers can also be lost if that is decided upon by the psychic.

Psychics have gifts. Just like the rest of us, this gift has to be developed and shared for the common good.
