MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to shop and make important decisions. The moon is in Gemini.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Keep your eyes open today because this is a mildly accident-prone day for you. However, it's also full of new, exciting, fresh events. Expect to meet new faces and see new places. Definitely avoid bores. (Yawn.) You want stimulating conversation and a few jokes. Yeah!

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Keep an eye on your money today because you could misplace or lose money, and the same for something you own. Conversely, you might dream up new ways of earning money because something to do with your cash flow and your possessions is unstable. Could be good, could be bad.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

This is an exciting day for you. However, be careful because there is an element of confusion, even deception as well. Therefore, don't jump to conclusions. Make sure you get all the facts before you make a decision about anything but do stay light on your feet.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You feel restless today. You want something to happen, something exciting. Like the phone rings and you find out you won a lot of money. Now that would be nice. Or maybe the phone rings and you get a nice invitation somewhere? You're waiting.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

A friend will probably surprise you today. Or you might hear from a member of a group and learn something interesting. Possibly, a meeting with others will be cancelled or changed. Basically, today is a bit up for grabs but it is a social day for you.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Expect surprises from authority figures in your life: bosses, teachers, parents, VIPs and the police. Somebody might throw you a curveball. Don't overreact and don't rebel. Just observe. There's a strong possibility that you don't have all the facts or that someone is misleading you. ("Not again!")

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Scheduled travel plans might change or be cancelled; conversely, you might suddenly have a chance you didn't expect to travel somewhere. The whole thing is a bit of a crapshoot. Be careful about falling for a message from a cult-like teacher. Be sensible.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Something unexpected related to shared property, taxes, debt and the resources of others might happen today. Check your bank account. Hopefully, you will receive an unexpected gift or favour from someone. It could be anything. (You might want to check for attached strings.)

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Partners and close friends are unpredictable today. They might cancel plans or suggest something entirely new or they might be acting in a rebellious, contrary way. The best scenario is that they'll introduce you to someone or take you somewhere exciting and different.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Your work routine will be interrupted today due to technological glitches or something to do with high-tech electronics. Staff shortages, cancelled meetings and broken-down equipment could be part of the scenario. Nevertheless, there's something exciting about it all, isn't there?

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Surprise flirtations could make your day. ("For me? You shouldn't have!") Spontaneous invitations to sports events and social occasions will please you. Parents should keep an eye on their kids because this is a mildly accident-prone day for them.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

You might want to tidy up at home and get dressed because surprise company could knock on your door today. Something will change your daily routine, that's for sure. Small appliances might break down or minor breakages could occur. Or you might have fun entertaining... who knows?

Scientists have studied the effect of the full moon and they found that there were less births in the weekends:). The old belief that there are more children born when the moon is full, has been proven wrong. In our days, children are born between 9 and 5 from Monday to Friday, if the doctors had it their way. It is more convenient and it can be done without harming the mother or the child, so why not. But now I will never know if there would be a natural tendency for more births at Full Moon (not all, just some more).
