MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to shop and make important decisions. The full moon peaks in Capricorn at 1:52 p.m.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

The full moon today might give you a bit of stress. Expect a few detours in your day and hopefully, you will sidestep emotional outbursts with family members, bosses and authority figures (especially female). Don't go looking for trouble. Keep thy lip zipped.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

The full moon today could create an accident-prone situation for you. Primarily this would occur because you are distracted, distraught or super annoyed. This means the secret to your sanity is to maintain your cool. Expect a change in travel plans or delays. (Oops.)

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Something to do with discussions about debt, taxes, shared property and your obligations to others could come to a head now. It might come as a surprise as well. Don't overreact because issues surrounding full moon often subside greatly in 48 hours. Wait until the dust settles. (Because it will.)

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

The only full moon directly opposite your sign all year is taking place. Naturally, you'll feel this polarity, especially with partners and close friends. It could signal a separation, or the end of something or just a temporary speed bump. Be cool.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

A health problem or some kind of glitch at work might arise because of the full moon today. Actually, today's full moon is not as tough as some other full moons for your sign, so you can relax. Enjoy pampering yourself in some way. (You'll think of something.)

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This might be a challenging day dealing with children, specifically your own kids or children under your care because today's full moon will tend to exaggerate emotions and feelings. This also applies to romantic relationships, which might experience a temporary angst or breakdown.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You'll feel today's full moon energy. It could cause problems with partners, authority figures or family members. Avoid confrontations with others and definitely guard against knee-jerk reactions. (Which you will probably regret later.) It's all peptides and photons dancing in an interconnected binary universe, right?

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is a mildly accident-prone day for your sign because of the full moon energy. Hopefully, if you read this in the morning, you will slow down and take it easy and allow extra time for wiggle room for whatever you do. The secret is to do nothing in haste and avoid controversial subjects.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Keep an eye on your money, cash flow and banking scene today because the full moon could spring a few surprises on you. Something might come to a head. Or you might have a clash of values with someone. Guard your money and possessions against loss or theft. (But grab whatever comes your way.)

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

The only full moon in your sign all year is occurring today. This could make you feel more emotional about everything, which means if someone pushes your buttons or annoys you, you might overreact! (Moi?)

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Hopefully, the energy of today's full moon will be easy for you. You might feel vaguely disconcerted or unprepared for something, especially work-related or even health-related. It could mean a breakthrough of sorts in some way at work. Things will quiet down very quickly.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Romantic relationships as well as relationships with children could be rather colourful today because of the full moon. Surprising upsets related to sports are also likely. Be extra-patient with friends and acquaintances in group settings. (No biggie.)

Scientists have studied the effect of the full moon and they found that there were less births in the weekends:). The old belief that there are more children born when the moon is full, has been proven wrong. In our days, children are born between 9 and 5 from Monday to Friday, if the doctors had it their way. It is more convenient and it can be done without harming the mother or the child, so why not. But now I will never know if there would be a natural tendency for more births at Full Moon (not all, just some more).
