Chardham and the divine influence on Indian soil

The influence of divinity and spirituality has been a major source of attraction for the tourists to the wonderful destination India which is not only the jewel of the continent but also of the entire world. There has been a constant influence of Hinduism in this country and this is the parent religion. India is a host to all the different religions of the world and the concept of India is the sarva dharma sambhava and based on this philosophy; India has attained a unique place in the world as far as the spiritual circles are concerned. There are pilgrimage centers of different faiths in India like the Buddhism, Islam and Christianity but when it comes to Hinduism, you have the tour like char dham yatra and the principal goal of such a yatra or pilgrimage is the eradication of sin, the prosperity and peace in the life of the individual. When it comes to the pilgrimages like these, you must keep one thing in mind which is the strict discipline. This is very important for making the wonderful pilgrimage a complete success in the life of the individual. By the end of the yatra, you feel as if the goal is achieved and are going in the new realm of life. When you talk of the chardham yatra, you speak of the 4 different pious places in the northern belt of Uttaranchal India. The pilgrimage is performed in the cool climate as this belt is totally cool and you have the influence of the Himalayas. The four principal spots that are covered during this wonderful tour are the Yamunotri, the Gangotri, the Kedarnath and the Badrinath which is the last spot and holds the special relevance. It is said that the bhagwan Shankaracharya attained the realization of the different births in this spot. You can start the chardham tour by going for the Haridwar yatra. After making the trip to Haridwar, you can go to the splendid place of Yamunotri. It is the origination of the river Yamuna also linked to the goddess Yamuna. It s said that the lord Krishna used to play on the banks of the river Yamuna. Following the trip t! o Yamuno tri and having the holy dip at the place of origination, you can proceed to the second spot known as the Gangotri. It is pious place and has the relevance among Hindus. The Ganges is believed to be a river of piety and is considered to be as the eradicator of sins. When you have the holy dip at the place of origination of the river Ganges; it is all together an experience that is beyond description. After having the holy dip, you feel as if the load of the sins from your shoulders is completely eradicated. Proceed to the third spot by the name Kedarnath and it is the place of lord Shiva. The 4th in the list of the spots is the splendid Badrinath. It is the place of lord Vishnu and Shankaracharya is said to have meditated here.

It was very inexpensive at the time, and the recording quality shows just how bad DC bias can get! No machine ever made by SONY had such a poorly designed amplifier. Nevertheless, for a vintage cassette tape recorder this machine has withstood the test of time, and 40 years later, it still works! Of note is that the drive mechanism is a mirror image of the standard Philips/Norelco specifications that were guidelines for cassette tape recorder manufacture at the time. Also of interest is the color of this little machine. When Mayfair produced reel to reel machines (of equally questionable quality) they used teal as their case color with silver accents.
