Numerology is any of many systems, traditions, and beliefs in mystical or esoterically a relation between numbers and objects or living things.

In the case of America's first ever black president, we will for instance use his birth date, which is 8th of April 1961. Numerology states that Obama's life path or birth force is 11. This was derived as follows; 8+4+1+9+6+1=29, this 29 is further broken down as; 2+9=11.

Eleven (11) is a master number, it is mainly associated with inspiration; this is a big deal in the numerological world. Basically Obama belongs in the public eye.  He is intuitive and intelligent with success coming from his leadership and influence of the society at large. He has inspired many through his example and numerology predicts that he will make a great teacher, author, reformer, psychologist or peacemaker. There are very high expectations for him. However much numerology has predicted success, Obama must beware of selfishness and conceit.

It is globally been felt that that the master number 11 is well placed in the very able hands of Mr. Obama. There is also an option that this is a 2 (1+1), in simpler terms that is; the number two is all about cooperation and coordination. This person works extremely well in partnerships and groups; in addition this person is kind and thoughtful, he is a diplomat and is very detail oriented, however it is believed that he prefers to stay in the background.  I guess that last one rules Obama as a 2, in that someone else must be there, this verily explains why so many are drawn to him and why he has come so quickly to where he is. Let us hope that numerology will be right and he can live up to peoples' expectations.

According to numerology, it is believed that Barrack Hussein Obama is in the first year of his fourth attainment. An attainment usually tells us about all coming events in our lives. In life there are four attainments, each telling us what experiences we will have during that period of our lives.

Obama is termed also as an 8, this breaks down to a person with many accomplishments, ambitious, authoritative, successful and is generally recognized. An 8 is a person in charge. Numerology states that this is not a time to be lazy or rely on luck. Expenses will be high and disappointments would come if trust is misplaced.

Numerology predicts that the year 2009 is a special year, this is explained by the math's 2+0+0+9 = 11, the year 2008 is numerologically denoted as 1 year, and this indicates all things will be new, there is need for change. Pioneering, new discoveries, inventions and idealism are prevalent. Activity is high. 2009 is an 11 year. This year indicates that there is an increased interest in religious and spiritual matters.

Numerology was used in the early days by mathematicians like Pythagoras. They are now not part of mathematics as they are considered pseudo mathematics by modern scientists. Let us hope that Obama's numerology is not misplaced.
