MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to shop and make important decisions. The moon is in Aries.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Discussions with others can become volatile today, so be careful. Yes you feel independent, and rightly so. And yes, others might try to boss you around or tell you what to do. (Silly them.) Nevertheless, why not cut others some slack? No biggie.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

You might feel resentful about something today. Remind yourself that it is your own feelings of unease that make you easily annoyed with others. Perhaps they are innocent of the crime of annoying you. In fact, if you were truly happy and mellow, they couldn't touch you.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

You might feel rebellious or resentful, especially to a female in a group situation today. Someone seems to be really high on themselves. Or maybe just plain bossy. If you wade into any kind of a dispute it will quickly become emotionally heavy. Why bother? Tip toe away.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Because you are briefly rather high-viz today, be careful about your reactions to others, even if you are upset or annoyed. Others are watching you. Far better to demonstrate grace under pressure than to look like someone totally losing it in the elevator.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

People are opinionated today, especially about politics, religion and racial issues. Therefore, don't even get involved. Walk the other way. You're interested in too many diverse, interesting things today to get bogged down in silly quarrels that are a waste of time.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Disputes about inheritances and shared property could arise today. The best way to avoid these is to avoid this subject matter. Somebody feels very intense about something. If you talk to this person, you probably can't win.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Although you're a fine debater, at heart you don't like fighting. You don't like your equilibrium to be upset. Today people feel emotionally very strong about issues. Vehemently so. Knowing this ahead of time, be careful. Do not wake the sleeping giant.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You'll have to make an effort to keep the peace at work today. Avoid quarrelsome co-workers. Don't ask for anything that is pushing it. Just go with the flow and flow with the go.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

This is a rocky day for romance for many. However, if you keep things light, and maintain your sense of humour, what's to worry? Even if everyone around you is losing their temper, you can be cool. Just pretend you don't understand what's going on.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Something in your home routine might be interrupted today. In fact, small appliances might break down or there could be equipment failure in some way. Tempers might be frayed. This calls for delicious cooking. Good food and drink can calm many a bad mood.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

There are definitely accident-prone vibes in the air today so slow down and take it easy. Be careful of everything you say and do. Think before you speak or act. Be observant of all the conditions around you.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Keep an eye on your money and your possessions today because you might lose things or something could get broken. Guard against impulse spending. Resist the temptation of sales that take your money so that you can save 50 per cent. You don't have to listen to some loudmouth who insists on telling you how to manage your money.

Scientists have studied the effect of the full moon and they found that there were less births in the weekends:). The old belief that there are more children born when the moon is full, has been proven wrong. In our days, children are born between 9 and 5 from Monday to Friday, if the doctors had it their way. It is more convenient and it can be done without harming the mother or the child, so why not.
