MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to shop and make important decisions. The full moon peaks in Leo at 3:54 p.m. today.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

The full moon today might create great stress with children and certainly, romantic partners. Even sports events could be more emotional than usual. You might feel group pressure about an art event or a social situation. Oy vey.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Today's full moon could make you feel pulled between the demands of home and family versus the demands of your career and your profession. You can't please everyone! Therefore, don't even try. Just please yourself and you'll please enough of the others as well.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

This is a mildly accident-prone day because of the full moon. However, an accident doesn't have to happen. The reason it might occur is because you are distracted or emotionally upset about something. Just be aware of this.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Financial tension is likely today. Something might come to a head related to your earnings, your job or even a dispute about something you own. The full moon can often do this. If you feel upset or too distracted about things, postpone important money decisions.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

The only full moon in your sign all year is taking place today. This will likely introduce increased tension with others. But it doesn't have to be a big deal -- that's up to you. If you feel yourself losing it, take a breath and maintain your composure. After all, you're a Leo.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Be extra patient with co-workers, clients and customers today because the full moon could make people edgy, especially in situations related to your job. You might also feel a bit more anxious than usual about your health. These problems will disappear in a few days.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This is a rocky day for romance because the full moon puts a lot of people on edge. It's a dicey day dealing with sports events, children, the arts, parties and social occasions. Full moon energy is hard to anticipate. A female in a group situation might oppose you today.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is not an easy full moon for your sign, so cut yourself some slack today. And definitely cut others some slack as well! You will feel conflicted (perhaps) between home and family versus career and your public reputation. Just cope as best you can.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

This is a mildly accident-prone day for your sign, so be careful. Think before you speak, act or do anything. This is not a good day to shoot from the hip. Pull in your reins and give everything a sober, second thought. Travel plans might need adjustments.

CAPRICORN (Dec.22-Jan. 19)

Today's full moon could create confusing situations to do with money, cash flow, earnings, your possessions or how you take care of other people's resources. It could force a decision in these areas. If you feel you're not ready for this decision postpone it.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Today the only full moon directly opposite your sign all year is taking place. (Run for cover!) Naturally, this could create conflict with partners and close friends. (Although it doesn't have to.) Just be aware of this and be your charming, Aquarian, friendly self.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

This could be a mildly stressful day for your health, due to the energy of the full moon. Acknowledge this by respecting your needs today. Think about your need for good food and decent rest. You also deserve peaceful, soothing surroundings to feel mellow and good about yourself.

Scientists have studied the effect of the full moon and they found that there were less births in the weekends:). The old belief that there are more children born when the moon is full, has been proven wrong. In our days, children are born between 9 and 5 from Monday to Friday, if the doctors had it their way. It is more convenient and it can be done without harming the mother or the child, so why not. But now I will never know if there would be a natural tendency for more births at Full Moon (not all, just some more).
