What can the sign of Virgo do for astrology? Virgo is about service, efficiency and a critica look. It is the sign of the servant, but there are leaders among those born under Virgo! I name: George wallace, Yasser Arafat, Margereth Trudeau and Lyndon Johnson. Virgo is supposed to discriminate and be of help, like most of us. When you are born under the astrological sign of Virgo, you are supposed to that in the spotlights or the spotlight is on your efficiency. So how can Virgo (the sign, not the human being born under Virgo), do for astrology?
- keep up the standards and never believe it all - contribute perfect data - find ways to use astrology in every day's life (without drifting away, I mean)
I found the records of a female Virgo astrologen. Her name seems to come out of a Harry Potter-book: Zipporah Dobyns. She was born August 21, 9:48 PM CST in Chicago and died June 7, 2003 in San Diego, 81 years old. This is her chart. Uranus has a special position and is opposition Mercury. Both are in hard aspect with Sun/Moon midpoint. You know that many astrologers have a Mercury-Uranus aspect, often because of the fact that their opinions are conflicting with those of their community. Mars and Pallas (patterns!) rise before the Sun. Midpoint AC/MC is in aspect with Moon in Gemini, biquintile Midheaven (I think of writing). Jupiter is quindecile the important Uranus for a strong focus on astrology. And I like the conjunction of Sun with Quaoar (creation of new perspectives).
They write that she worked a lot with asteroids. Those are tiny objects and tiny objects are part of the astrological vocabulary, V for Virgo. I never heard of ' Zip ' before today. I doubt that her publications reached my country. But now I know and I added another astrologer to the list. One of the more common means of informing fortunes and offering insights into the good old days and fate is the tarot. Tarot cards first originated in Italy in the rudimentary half of the fifteenth century as a card game, used purely for recreation. This early game was something like the modern game of Bridge. The use of tarot cards for divination is elementary recorded in the early 1700s and by the end of the 18th century; changes were made to tarot cards to make them more favorable for divination and esoteric meanings. Originally, tarot cards had no connection to the occult, and this link is a more modish one than the cards themselves. The specifics of the modernized cards, originated for esoteric purposes, present their basis in the 19th century. The modernized tarot deck is separated into what is commonly called the major arcana or tru...
Pholus is an asteroid, a small object that pops up in a chart as the catalyst. Transit Pholus often reflects the small and insignificant but irrevocable trigger point. But what starts as a tiny thing can grow out of proportions, like the sudden rise of an X-factory star. Susan Boyle, for example, has Pholus on MC. Her career certainly has a point of no return. Pholus moves through Sagittarius. What happens when transit Pholus is conjunct the natal sun in Sagittarius? TRANSIT PHOLUS ON SAGITTARIUS SUN In a few days (just before Xmas 2012) transit Pholus will be conjunct my Sun in 19d53 Sagittarius for the first time and more hits will follow in 2013. I'll pay special attention to those days of transit Pholus. It might be that someone or something will silently and slowly start changing my life. Or that someone's death will. Or... maybe nothing happens. I'll let you know and I am curious about your experiences. Many Sagittarians had transit Pholus on their Sun ...
