MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to shop and make important decisions. The moon is in Libra.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

It's a bit of a mixed bag today. There's no question tempers might fray early this morning, especially with partners or close friends (actually, with anyone who ticks you off). Nevertheless, later in the day, all is sweetness and light! Go figure.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Squabbles with co-workers might take place this morning. Nevertheless, don't let this get you down because, as the day wears on, everything mellows in a very nice way. In fact, by evening, you're full of money-making ideas. Ka-ching!

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Lovers will have to be patient with each other today. (Let not the God of Carnage rain down on you.) Remember: A closed mouth gathers no feet. Similarly, parents will have to be patient with children and their meltdowns. Be kind to others today.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Family squabbles, especially over breakfast, are par for the course today. Fortunately, this day does not have to be miserable. It's just touchy to begin. (Wobbly takeoff.) But as the day wears on, everybody's mood lightens -- including parents and bosses -- and you are happy again!

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Don't get your belly in a rash over ideological discussions about religion, politics or racial issues. (Ditto for publishing, the media, medicine and the law.) This is small potatoes, really. Later, these same areas can be food for thought to boost your income or make fabulous travel plans. Looks very promising!

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Power struggles about shared property, inheritances, taxes and debt might take place early in the day. Fortunately, later in the day, someone sees a solution. "These are not the droids you are looking for." Knowing this, don't overplay your hand early in the day. Avoid making a fool of yourself.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Today the moon is in your sign opposing Uranus and at odds with big daddy Pluto. (Not a pretty picture.) Power struggles are classic early in the day. Later, discussions with partners and close friends, especially about travel, publishing, the media or higher education will positively delight you. A complete turnaround!

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You might experience some mild angst talking to siblings, neighbours and relatives this morning. Nevertheless, don't make a big deal about anything because later in the day, something at work (or about your health) will totally please you. Keep this in mind.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Squabbles with friends or groups might disappoint you this morning. (People are so competitive lately!) Don't let this spoil your fun because something at work will please you or news about your health might be equally pleasant. This could end up being a very good day at work. Ha! (Who knew?)

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Power struggles with authority figures (including Mom) are likely early in the day, especially this morning. Don't let this dark cloud on your horizon set the tone for your day because later, family discussions or plans about real estate and your home, look marvellous!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Even though discussions might be petty and annoying early in the day, fear not because your bright, original take on something can make a positive impact on sports events, parties, social occasions or anything to do with show business, the entertainment world and the hospitality industry. Romance looks sweet!

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Scientists have studied the effect of the full moon and they found that there were less births in the weekends:). The old belief that there are more children born when the moon is full, has been proven wrong. In our days, children are born between 9 and 5 from Monday to Friday, if the doctors had it their way. It is more convenient and it can be done without harming the mother or the child, so why not. But now I will never know if there would be a natural tendency for more births at Full Moon (not all, just some more).
