MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to shop (whether you spend $ 10 or $ 10 million) and make important decisions -- except for a little window from 8:30 p.m. until 9 p.m.. After that the moon moves from Sagittarius into Capricorn.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

This is an excellent day to study something or make long-range travel plans. You might develop a new strategy for publishing, the media, medicine and the law. You might also learn something important from a teacher or mentor figure.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

This is an excellent day to tidy up loose ends regarding red-tape details related to inheritances, wills, taxes, debt, insurance matters and shared property. Your concentration is excellent today and you're concerned about serious matters.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

You'll have to go more than halfway dealing with others today because the moon is directly opposite your sign. In fact, someone older, wiser or more experienced might have advice for you. It never hurts to listen (especially if you're in a witness protection program).

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You'll be productive at work today (or in any task you tackle). For starters, you're in a practical frame of mind. Furthermore, your powers of concentration are excellent and you're willing to slog away at routine work if necessary. That's all it takes.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

There's always an element of hard work to any creative activity, and today, you're willing to whatever is necessary. It could be the prep stage or the cleanup stage or just the missionary work to explore something new. Romance or a flirtation with someone older might turn your crank.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You're not in the mood for frivolity today. This is why you might seek out serious people to discuss serious subjects. Or you might want to consult someone older, wiser or more experienced to get their view of things. You feel very thrifty and careful today.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Any kind of research that you choose to do today will be extremely successful. You have good powers of concentration; you won't let yourself be distracted; and you are very detail oriented. This kind of focus yields results! And you won't even have to double check your work.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Someone older, wiser and more experienced (probably a female) can offer you good advice today or steer you in a good direction. Be receptive to this. Don't be quick to dismiss suggestions from others. (Of course, no amount of careful planning will ever replace dumb luck.)

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

The old belief that there are more children born when the moon is full, has been proven wrong. In our days, children are born between 9 and 5 from Monday to Friday, if the doctors had it their way. It is more convenient and it can be done without harming the mother or the child, so why not.
