A vintage tape recorder usually followed a standard design with the feed reel on the left, the take up reel on the right, and the tape path winding DOWN across the heads. The DEUS Corporation of Japan decided to turn this entire concept upside down with the DEUS Model E-630 -- a portable reel to reel tape recorder that uses 3 inch reels. In the DEUS machine, the feed reel on the left sends the tape UP to a head block and then across to the capstan and pinch roller, where is descends DOWN to the take up reel. This is actually a reverse construction, and even the heads had to be mounted upside down to make the machine compatible with other vintage reel to reel tape recorders! In addition, the machine features a brass capstan flywheel, a spring drive belt, and the take up reel is driven not by the capstan or motor, but by a pulley mounted beneath the capstan pinch roller! Scientists have studied the effect of the full moon and they found that there were less births in the weekends:). The old belief that there are more children born when the moon is full, has been proven wrong. In our days, children are born between 9 and 5 from Monday to Friday, if the doctors had it their way. It is more convenient and it can be done without harming the mother or the child, so why not. But now I will never know if there would be a natural tendency for more births at Full Moon (not all, just some more). Maybe it is not so, not even in the middle of the jungle without electricity or doctors. Who cares about the position of the moon, anyway, these days? I remember that I was on the road at night. I parked and watched a partial lunar eclipse (a cloud hanging before the moon) and I noticed that nobody noticed. They were eating, drinking, checking tires, walking dogs, going to the toilets...but nobody was staring at the sky or pointing at the moon to tell their childr...
When you click on the label 'football' you find a few posts in which I try to 'predict' the results of a match or game by using the MC of the final moment to see if there is a 'hit' with the coach's natal chart. I also use the transits and progressions of the coach. I wanted to try it on the Super Bowl of February 3, 2013. It is a special match, because the two coaches are brothers ( John and Jim Harbaugh ). SUPER BOWL CHART? I thought it would be very interesting to see who wins and to see how the charts of the brothers are reflecting this. The problem with the chart of the SuperBowl is, however, that there is no indication for the eact time of the end of the match! The average SuperBowl lasts for about 3,5 hours, but it could be more (or less), depending on the length of shows and commercials. That makes it hard for to use my method. But I still want to have a look at the charts of the brothers. THE HARBAUGH SYNASTRY The sun signs of the brot...
