Ever since a child is first sent to school, he is already being taught about the existence of angels. Every child is taught about the many different angels and zodiac signsangels whom we believe live in heaven. And yes, there have been accounts which prove their existence. And these angels are not only limited to those that we think guide us in our everyday activities. There are also angels who are directly connected to astrology. These angels govern our zodiac signs and they play a crucial role to a person's individuality.

So here is a quick list of angels and their meanings.

  • Angel Machidiel -  Machadiel means the "fullness of God" and also governs March. This also makes him the ruler of Aries.
  • Angel Asmodel -  Asmodel, also known as the "demon of punishment" is the ruler of the zodiac sign, Taurus. He is the angel that governs the month of April.
  • Angel Ambriel -  This is the angel that governs the month of May and is the angel of Gemini. This angel is also considered as the chief officer of the 12th hour of night. This name is also used to ward off evil.
  • Angel Muriel – Muriel is the ruler of Cancer; thus, he is the angel of the month of June. He is also known as the chief officer of the day's 3rd hour.
  • Angel Verchiel -  This is the ruler of July and the ruler of Leo. More than this, he also governs the Sun.
  • Angel Hamaliel – Angel Hamaliel is one of the rulers of the "orders of virtue". He is also the Angel of August and the ruler of Virgo.
  • Angel Uriel -  The name literally means "Fire of God". He governs September and is the Archangel of Salvation. This angel can be seen in the infamous painting by Dryden named "The State of Innocence". In the said painting, the angel is seen descending from heaven on board a chariot that is being drawn by white horses. The "Scales of Libra" are present because Uriel is being equated to divine vengeance and justice.

  • Angel Barbiel -  The angel of October. He is considered as one of the 28 angels that compose the 28 mansions of the Moon. Also the ruler of Scorpio, Barbiel is among the seven electors of the underworld.
  • Angel Adnachiel – He is the angel of November and ruler of Sagittarius. Together with Phaleg, he is the alternate ruler of the Order of Angels.
  • Angel Haniel -  The name means "Glory or grace of God". Haniel is the ruler of Capricorn as well as the angel of December. Because he is known as the chief of innocents, he is usually invoked as an amulet against evil.
  • Angel Gabriel. This angel is the angel of January. He is also known to be the 2nd highest ranking angel as recognized in the Judaeo-Christian and the Mohammedan religion. Annunciation, resurrection, mercy, vengeance, death, and revelation are being represented by Gabriel. Sitting on the left-hand side of God, Gabriel is the ruing prince of the 1st Heaven and is known as the spirit of truth. Joan of Arc was inspired to serve the King of France because of Angel Gabriel.
  • Angel Barchiel – This is the ruler of Pisces and the angel of February. Also known as the "Lightening of God", Barchiel is one of the seven arcangels.

With this, it may be concluded that angels really exist and they can be sought for our horoscope.
